Humberto Garcés-Lenis is the founder and CEO of the Green Construction Services Group, LLC of Washington, D.C. This firm is the first Latino-owned and operated construction company in the D.C. area to focus on construction materials and methods that are good for the environment and contribute to a healthier planet. This ecological awareness springs from Mr. Garcés’ upbringing in Colombia, South America among indigenous and Afro-descendant communities who regard the earth and its people as a living web of life to be honored and cared for.

Mr. Garcés’ leadership at Green Construction have propelled it to the forefront of local construction enterprises, serving as general contractor for new buildings in both commercial and residential projects, as well as renovations and remodeling. Specialties of the team at Green Construction include electrical and civil engineering; renewable energy; plumbing and sprinkler systems; LED lighting; data, cable and smart building technologies; and organic gardens. Green CSG has successfully completed projects for the Department of General Services, the D.C. Public Schools, the D.C. Police and Fire Departments, the District of Columbia Sustainable Energy Utility, and the D.C. Parks and Recreation Department, among other governmental entities. In these projects, Mr. Garcés has distinguished himself as a contractor who delivers high quality services on time, on budget, and which consistently exceed clients’ expectations.

Andres is responsible for overseeing the construction process of our projects. Before joining the Green Construction Services Group team, Alvaro was the project manager at IDEINCO. Alvaro is originally from Colombia and has a background in architecture.
